@wulung We will be going online soon. It will be a Sapsucker Woods Pond cam rather than a heron cam as no herons this year.
@RobiesRobies1 We hope to have a new pond cam up and running soon. There is no heron breeding activity on the pond this year.
We do apologize, we tweeted to the wrong cam. A new pond cam is currently being set up and will come online soon. https://twitter.com/wulung/status/600704005824581632…
We should be back up and running now. Click refresh to see the cams.
If you are seeing 'Error 522 Connection Timed Out' we are aware of the issue and hope to get the site back up and running ASAP.
@FeederWatchCam I will be looking forward to seeing the pond cam when it is up and running.

We continue to work to get the new pond cam up and running. It is taking longer than expected. https://twitter.com/bluefishpix/status/600321015894429697…
@akamsun No, there is no nest on the pond, and little heron activity this year.
@PatriciaPTeller no nesting activity from herons, some foraging on pond. New cam plans hopeful in coming 2 weeks. Thanks for patience!
Still no heron nesting activity—have plans for a new cam in a different, more maintainable spot, hope < 2wks. https://twitter.com/2borrealis/status/593769450857365505…
RT "@akamsun: when will the Heron cam be back up and running?” We are working on it, the cam was hit by lightning, so we need a new cam.
We are still looking into why the cam is down. It will take time to work out what is wrong and we may need to install a new camera
We will keep you posted and we thank you for your patience! Streaming cams 24 hours a day 7 days a week has its challenges.
We are still looking into why the cam is down. It will take time to work out what is wrong and we may need to install a new camera.
We are still looking into why the cam is down. The cam may have been struck by lightning. We will keep you posted. Lots of testing needed.

The heron cam went down during last night’s storm—we’re hoping to troubleshoot why today. Thanks for your patience!
