きょうは暑さ凌ぎを兼ねて、ちょっとまえにTLで話題だったペプシしそ飲んでみた。清涼飲料としてはわりと好きな味だが、期待したほどの紫蘇風味ではなかったのが残念。しかも薄い緑色で、青しそのイメージなのね。紫蘇なんだからとうぜん紫だと思ってたよ。

さらに言うならば、空っぽの墳墓はプラトンの洞窟をも想起させる。Absence from Felicity引用終盤の who follow me into the sunlight はおそらく洞窟の囚人の寓話を重ねた語りだろう。かっこよすぎる。

晩年のゲーデルにACIMを読ませたかったね。こんな曖昧で冗長度の高い諸言明が連なる書物は読みたくないと言われそうだけど。ACIMは神学やらの系の完全性を追究する論考じゃなくて、神を体験させる道を敷く文芸作品だからなあ。
