@matsumotory @tpwky Different but a bit related subject. I also love this episode. http://thispodcastwillkillyou.com/2018/11/26/episode-14-rabies-dont-dilute-me-bro/… This particular comment “secretly terrified but outwardly confident” on Pasteur made me laugh a lot. This has been my life as well 😂 although I achieved nothing 😅

@matsumotory FYI. This podcast will not kill you but make you knowledgeable😇. I personally like this comment, “A cell phone is literally a poop bag.” by Dr. Kraft. http://thispodcastwillkillyou.com/2020/02/04/episode-43-m-m-m-my-coronaviruses/… @tpwky

@155naicai A friend of mine (native born American) retired in Thailand. He said $900/month pays everything including housing, food, and the Internet access. We are thinking about Istria, Croatia in 10 years which has the original(?) Mediterranean climate 😇

@155naicai Indeed, but I am jealous when I see kids singing “Guns and Ships.” You have to speak/sing at 6.5 words per second 😅. I can’t!😂

@155naicai One of my friends's daughter started singing @HamiltonMusical at the age of 4. He said, "I'm glad she doesn't understand what she was singing." --- "son of a whore and a Scotsman..." 😂

@willyoes A bit of different subject. We have a lot of immigrants from all over the regions including modern Africa. I remember this interview very well. https://www.npr.org/2013/06/27/195598496/americanah-author-explains-learning-to-be-black-in-the-u-s…

@willyoes Now this is an anecdote. I like a podcast called @NPRItsBeenAMin. It seems to me that the host @samsanders uses the words "black" and "African American" interchangeably. I am interested in the preferences by African Americans themselves. I personally rarely use the word "black."

@willyoes "そもそも米国でblackと言う言葉は使われなくなりつつある。": Google Trends disagrees.

@marei_de_pon Some economists think it is not because of the reparation but because of the deflation in 1929 - 1932. Now Germany is imposing deflationary fiscal policies to peripheral Europe, and Nationalism (at least anti-immigration sentiment) is rising there. https://www.econlib.org/archives/2015/01/are_german_scho.html…
