@DasSurma Some Japanese sentence change to completely different meaning depending on where "、" is placed.
and this ES6 ternary operator feels like those elementary school homework to put "、" to form correct sentence based on context.

@DasSurma This took me embarrassingly long time to decipher.

This week I learned that Edward Tafte owns a farm with sculpture you can visit in Connecticut...price tag is a bit steep for just single person visit ($80 for one car up-to 4 people) I need to find three more of nerds with a car.

I was gonna say that's unbelievable but then remembered 黄砂 (desert dust from China and Mongolia etc) falls in Japan every year so it's not _that_ surprising.

me 30min ago: smokey outside, is the farm on the hill doing burn today or something (which is unlikely in summer)
me, just now : oh? I see mountain is burning 2,500 miles away. Got it.

Craving Menchi katsu.
Deli sandwich at hipster butcher is cool and all, but americans haven't realized pure goodness of mom & pop butcher's breaded and fried meat (and other dish) you can buy on the way home from school.

What it looked like before. I wanted to clean and put those original floor back, but it was WAY too much work and wood was too brittle so I just opted for new wood. https://twitter.com/kosamari/status/1320424865946619904…
posted at 07:42:57
Ideally, wall before floor, but we are living in a constant shuffle of construction materials. So pile of wood needed to be moved first before plaster board can move in.

Finally, finishing floor.
(We’ve been living on cardboard protection over raw floor for almost 8 months) it was okay, but I’m looking forward to polished floor.) https://pic.twitter.com/FoqfPlvIeh

Got to go to Takahachi Bakery today and… their milk bread is superior.
Panya, Zaiya, and Paris Baguette does not cut it.
マンハッタンまで行くのめんどくさくてここのところ日系スーパーに卸されてる食パンか韓国系パン屋のばっか買ってたけどやっぱりTakahachiの食パンが一番おいし。

@ftrain Recommend it...but last time I ordered those was like 30 years ago.
I used to get shelf stable bite size jelly in plastic cup as dessert of those set (not from Ootoya but another family restaurant), and two of them lived in my desk drawer for YEARS.

We drove to “rich people second home by ocean” town today and spent $8/lb on cherry because it looked like what I get in Japan.
...and I’m still thinking about that irresponsible spending.
(It is a-ok. Not like Japanese cherry. This is another reminder to not buy cherry in US)
